Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, execution and accuracy of MSIs take-off projects. This individual works directly with sales, clients and engineering to ensure all project activities and deliverables are met.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as project liaison to tie the take-off process together and ensure projects are executed accurately and on-time.
Reviews, evaluates and distributes all project documents needed to perform take-off. Documents include: project specifications, facility drawings, construction schedule, insulation schedule, lead sheets, etc.
Coordinates and facilitates preliminary client call to confirm scope of work, material needed, placement of products, on-site date, etc.
Creates project documents including: Project Definition Document (PDD) detailing project specifics, submittal packages, proposals and quotes. Distributes necessary documents to MSIs engineering and sales teams.
Coordinates and facilitates client edit meetings for the review and finalization of clients bill of materials (BOM). Upon approval, sends BOM to order entry for pre-production processing.
Reviews and updates daily material take-off schedule and tracker to ensure customer & production timelines are being met. Manages multiple phase/releases for projects assigned.
Contributes in training MSIs sales force on engineered services.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree or certification in Project or Construction Management, Business Management or related field (significant relevant experience will otherwise be considered).
Above average proficiency in MS Office Products, intermediate skill level in Excel. Experience in BlueBeam desired.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-directed and able to independently manage time and projects in a fast-paced environment; results driven.
Hands-on knowledge of construction schedules, specifications and drawings preferred
